Mark Springfield of Raleigh-based Springfield Collaborative Divorce Performs for the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Annual Meeting

The Instruments of Justice band will perform on June 22, 2014, in Wilmington.

RALEIGH, NC, June 17, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Springfield, attorney and partner in the Raleigh law firm Springfield Collaborative Divorce, will be on stage instead of in the audience Saturday night, June 22, 2014, performing as a member of the Instruments of Justice band during NCBA's Annual Meeting. Lawyers from all over the state will convene June 19-22 in Wilmington, 116th NC, at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside Hotel. More than 1,000 attendees and participants are expected.

A member of the NCBA and a practicing attorney since 1986, Springfield practices collaborative divorce law. He plays the trumpet semi-professionally after hours and for several years has been a member of Instruments of Justice - a "law firm band" that includes singers, backup vocals, horns and keys.

"The band's thrilled to be playing the annual Bar Convention. Several of us are lawyers, and we've gone to the Saturday night dance and gala in years past, but never as the entertainment. We plan to give the crowd an evening of high energy, danceable music featuring Motown, class R&B, blues, rock and roll, and a few things outside of the box. It'll be a blast," said Springfield.
