Marlo B. Krueger, Esq., Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Krueger has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the legal industry

BENTON, AR, February 16, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Marlo B. Krueger, Esq., with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Krueger celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Krueger is a retired attorney who served as a reporter of decisions for the Arkansas Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals for seven years. She previously served as the assistant reporter of decisions from 1982 to 1988. Culminating her career in law in 1995, Ms. Krueger later served as an interim reporter writing headlines, publishing the Arkansas Reports and tackling other objectives for the court, which she very much enjoyed.

First earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1978, Ms. Krueger knew that she needed further education in order to be successful in her career. Going on to complete a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the same university, she graduated and was admitted to the Bar of Arkansas in 1981. Not interested in being responsible for the lives of others or being an active attorney, she instead took on the role of a reporter, writing notes and tackling other objectives for the court, which she very much enjoyed.

Throughout her career and long after she closed the chapter to her career, Ms. Krueger has spent a lot of time upholding numerous civic roles. She is currently serving as a director of the Saline County History and Heritage Society and did so from 2013 to 2015, where she also spent time as president, member of the editorial committee, treasurer, editor and secretary. Currently chair of the history committee, she recently served on the debt reduction committee and the board of trustees for the First United Methodist Church from 2014 to 2016, where she is a lifetime member and sat on several of the church's boards and committees dating back to 1984.

Ms. Krueger was the editor of an article titled "Civil War Letters of Sergeant Frederick William Bush," which won her a Best Edited Document Award and a Dale Bumpers Award in 1993. She also edited "Benton Like it was in Our Youth," for which she earned recognition when the article won a Best Community History in a Local Journal Award in 1999. For her article "Storch-Maertens Family History and Congo Stores: Part I," she won the Walter L. Brown Award for Best Family History in 2016. She has also been a longtime member of the American Canoe Association, the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Canoe Club, lifetime member of the Arkansas Historical Association, the Arkansas Alumni Association and Phi Delta Phi, and member of the Association of Reporters of Judicial Decisions, where she dedicated her time on various committees and on the executive board as president, vice president and secretary. The organization granted her with a Devoted Service Award in honor of her service in 1995.

Married to James Robert Krueger since 2001, Ms. Krueger enjoys genealogy, fishing, photography, history and computers. She has been cited in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Marlo B. Krueger, Esq., has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
