There, she served as a microanalyst before attaining more senior-level roles, including technical information analyst, senior advisor of technical information, supervisor of administrative services, and consultant. Ms. Marcali was instrumental in automation efforts for chemical information; she contributed to the development of company information storage and retrieval systems for scientific information online, derived from scientific reports.
Ms. Marcali studied at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently aligned with the American Chemical Society, for which she has served in such roles as treasurer of the division of chemical information, division councilor, and member of the joint board council committee on abstracts service. Ms. Marcali now devotes much of her time to charitable and civic endeavors, including the Wilmington District Representative Committee, an organization with which she has maintained membership since 1976.
