HOLLY RIDGE, NC, January 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marsha S. Spiller, Teacher at Dixon Middle School of Onslow County Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of middle school education.

Lending nearly three decades of professional experience to her position at Dixon Middle School, Marsha S. Spiller is a recognized authority on mathematics instruction. Demonstrating dedication and passion for her work, she renders sixth-grade mathematics education, conducts teacher cadet programs and works with student teachers from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Additionally, she functions as a beginning teacher coordinator.

Ms. Spiller was honored as the 2001 Teacher of the Year. Today, she considers the most gratifying aspect of her career as having the opportunity to help her students grasp mathematical concepts. She holds a bachelor of arts in education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Ms. Spiller is a member of the North Carolina Educational Association.
