/24-7PressRelease.com/ - Nashua, NH -- March 31, 2005 - Merrimack, NH fine art photographer Lynne Guimond Findlay will be previewing photo-based illustrations from her book-in-progress "Circle of Life" at Martin's PhotoGraphiX (Nashua, NH) during the month of April 2005. This is the first time the images have been displayed as a group in public. It is also the inaugural exhibit in the newly-expanded Martin's PhotoGraphiX gallery.
For this project, Findlay created seven sets of photo-mandalas. Each set of seven images represents one of seven distinct life stages: birth/infancy, childhood, teens, early adulthood, middle age, "the golden years", and death/rebirth. The images were inspired by Findlay's travels to Nepal, Thailand, and China, and have been reinterpreted for a Western audience. (In addition to the mandalas, her book will also contain anecdotes about each life stage from respondents of all ages and backgrounds.)
To round out the exhibition, Findlay will also display photographic works she has produced over the past year. These include still life images, landscapes, and travel photography.
"We are very pleased that Lynne has agreed to be the first featured exhibitor in our expanded gallery," said Herb Martin, owner of Martin's PhotoGraphiX. "Lynne is a well-known and respected photographer and we expect a large and favorable response to her images."
The exhibit is free and open to the public. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 7, from 5-8PM.

A former art director and graphic designer, Lynne Guimond Findlay resides in Merrimack, NH. She is a member of the New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists, as well as a juried member of the Cambridge Art Association, the New Hampshire Art Association, and the Sharon Arts Center.
