    SYRACUSE, NY, February 8, 2013 /Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Mary C. Stevens, Staff Respiratory Therapist for SUNY Upstate Medical University, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in respiratory therapy.

Ms. Stevens uses her 29 years of experience in her position as a staff respiratory therapist for SUNY Upstate Medical University, where she earned an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Working at a teaching hospital, she helps to educate interns and residents who come through as part of their training, in addition to mentoring respiratory therapy students.

Over the years, she has gained expertise in emergency, pediatric and trauma care. A registered respiratory therapist, she maintains affiliations with the American Association for Respiratory Care and the National Board for Respiratory Care. She also supports the Aadon Blu's Peace Fund and the American Lung Association. She attributes her successful career in health care to her hard work, and adaptive and goal-oriented nature.
