Bringing books to life for others, Dr. Kelly has been a librarian at East Baton Rouge Parish School in Louisiana since 2001 following six years of service at Holy Family School in Port Allen, LA. A certified English and social studies teacher, city materials media center director, and school librarian, all in the state of Louisiana, Dr. Kelly is an avid reader who volunteers her time by writing book reviews for several magazines as well as visiting public libraries to perform storytelling skits for people. Dedicated to her field, Dr. Kelly is also a former non-public school commission member of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, and former longtime member and chairman of the administration commission at St. Aloysius Catholic Church for 16 years. She has written many articles in professional and academic journals in her field, is an ongoing presenter, and has been known to sponsor various yearbooks and literature magazines.
