MOREHEAD CITY, NC, November 11, 2008
/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Ideal Network Club is a unique networking club that was especially designed by former Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Mary Kurek, as an income producer exclusive to Chambers of Commerce. The Club is based on six workshop style sessions facilitated by Kurek through streaming video. The sessions are action-oriented and results driven to provide a different approach to networking that generates success on the very first day.
Introduced in Kurek's nationally endorsed book, Who's Hiding in Your Address Book?, the Club is featured as a model initially hosted by the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce in Morehead City, North Carolina. Says Chamber President, Mike Wagoner, "this club has not only been a great benefit to our small business members , but put more than a thousand extra dollars of non-dues income into our budget during a normally slow time of year."
Kurek 's intention with the club actually has to do with her mission to help business owners change the way that they network. "I want people to spend less time and effort making things happen," says Kurek. "That means they need to learn to network on purpose...for a purpose. They have to get out of the sales mentality and get into a 'finding the gap and filling it for themselves and others mentality.' It means they need to review, revamp, and reorganize their 'human resources,' and not be afraid to use them. This is ideal networking, and if the only place you get to experience this is with a Chamber of Commerce, then what a great boost that is for our number one networking resource across the globe."
Kevin Whitley of Emerald Isle Insurance, Emerald Isle, North Carolina agrees with Kurek's mission. As a "graduate" of the Ideal Network Club, Whitley experienced early success. "I have been through two sessions and have already seen results!! After the e-mail campaign in which I sent out 25 e-mails asking for individuals to help me make connections to homeowner and condo associations, I received a positive response from 16 of those with names and numbers within 3 days!! WOW!! It was unbelievable."
Among the session topics are, "Getting Known on the Net," "Creative Collaborations," "Media Mania," and "Fattening the Kitty." Jordan White of JP Art Glass in Havelock, North Carolina claims that her company's online visibility grew from a couple of search engine results to claiming the entire first page of results and part of the second page without paying for extra advertising. She credits the "Getting Known on the Net" session for teaching her how to network and market her business online. This visibility helped her to secure a government contract within months of her club participation.
Mary Kurek, Inc. provides the content and consulting for a first-time fee that matches the Chamber's lowest full business membership rate. For details, video introduction and testimonials, as well as a worksheet to help figure out potential income, visit Mary's web site (Chambers section).
