MEA Forensic Appoints Dr. John Gardiner, Senior Biomechanical Engineer and Injury Group Leader

    LOS ANGELES, CA, November 27, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MEA Forensic Engineers & Scientists, Inc. appointed Dr. John Gardiner Senior Biomechanical Engineer and Injury Group Leader, responsible for the firm's US injury practice.

With his extensive biomechanics knowledge base, customer focus and strategic vision, John is the ideal executive to oversee our Injury Group."

In his new role, Dr. Gardiner will report directly to MEA's President Dr. Gunter Siegmund.

Dr. Gardiner, based in Los Angeles, has been with MEA since 2002. He specializes in conducting biomechanical analyses to assess injury causation in cases involving automobile collisions, slip/trip and fall, and sports injuries. He also is an expert in the use of finite element (FE) method to assess product failure and function in medical device and other fields. Areas of his research efforts include whiplash, slip and fall mechanics and knee and shoulder biomechanics.
