The black tie gala, which benefits Hospice of Wake County, will be held Saturday, October 1st from 7p.m. - 1a.m. at the Capital City Club in Raleigh.
The 2011 theme builds on the sophistication of the popular black tie and red stiletto icon with the addition of diamond encrusted 10th anniversary lettering. The straightforward tagline succinctly sums up the event - unforgettable.
"When we were first asked to come up with the look and feel last year, we were delighted," said Nancy Bono, Partner, MPI. "But the opportunity to return this year to take Big Bad Ball into its 10th year is thrilling."
Over the past 10 years, the Big Bad Ball has raised more than $900,000. Last year alone, the money raised from the event provided over 630 days of patient care for those who might otherwise not be able to afford it.
About the Big Bad Ball
Presented by The Capital City Club's Young Executives, the Big Bad Ball is an annual black tie gala benefiting Hospice of Wake County. The 10th anniversary fundraiser will feature live music, a silent auction, door prizes, and a $10,000 raffle. Each year, the event raises upwards of $100,000 to support Hospice's Benevolent Care Program, which provides necessary end-of-life care for terminally ill patients and their families.
