/24-7PressRelease/ -- Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc., a national staffing organization specialized in recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the healthcare, insurance and scientific industries, recently added a new area of service to its staffing services portfolio with the addition of its Information Technology (IT) division. The division, which will run under the separate name Medix IT Staffing Solutions, will originally launch in the company's Illinois and Arizona offices, with plans for rapid development to spread to the Medix offices across the country.
"The reason we decided to expand into this division is because we could potentially impact our current clients, and it is a $22 billion dollar industry that represents a great growth opportunity for our company," said Andrew Limouris, Medix's Chief Executive Officer.
According to Limouris, the IT division will essentially cater to any organization with an IT department and is in need of staffing services. To jump-start the division, Medix will initially target existing healthcare, insurance and scientific clients with IT departments, such as hospitals, insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies. "By initiating the division within our existing client base, we will have a foundation to jumpstart our IT staffing services and eventually spread beyond into all companies in need of IT staffing in the marketplace," he said.
Medix will focus on three areas of IT - applications development, infrastructure and communications. The applications development sector focuses on all aspects of the software development life cycle. Some of the positions Medix will place in this area include project managers, business analysts and software developers. The infrastructure section will focus on helping customers implement and support complex technologies. Positions within this area include PC techs, desktop support, network administrators and security engineers. Within the communications technology sector, Medix will place such positions as cable tech, cell site installers, drive testers and circuit designers.
