/24-7PressRelease/ -- Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc. is this year's recipient of the Business Ledger's "Entrepreneurial Excellence Growth Award." The annual award recognizes private businesses for outstanding growth and development within the last four years; Medix and the company's Chief Executive Officer Andrew Limouris were highlighted this year as leaders in the world of entrepreneurial spirit.
"The past four years have marked an extremely dynamic period in our company," said Limouris. "We have experienced a 930 percent growth, and our plans to expand this development even further."
Recipients of the award were selected based on recent revenue figures and a series of mini-essays submitted on behalf of the honoree; these essays described numerous facets of the company, from employee development to company philanthropic initiatives. The Business Ledger, which is hosting the Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards for the eighth consecutive year, is a bi-monthly business newspaper that serves DuPage County, northwest Cook County and the Fox River Valley of suburban Chicago. This year, 23 men and women were profiled for various awards, including service, spirit, lifetime achievement, early stages and growth awards.

Recipients of the Business Ledger Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards were featured in a special October edition of the newsletter. They were also honored at an October banquet at the Danada House in Wheaton, Ill. Offering keynote remarks at the event was Barry Moltx, a noted author and expert on entrepreneurship.
