/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Melissa Combs, Director for Marshall County Emergency Management, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.
Ms. Combs has 20 years combined experience in administration, public relations, and organizational alliances. Her training in clerical studies provided an excellent foundation for her career. Strong relationships fostered through the county emergency responder alliance and her strong belief in emergency services have directly contributed to her success. Serving as an active first responder she participates not only in the county emergency responder alliance but also participates in events promoting preparedness throughout her community. Gravy's Annual Outdoor Youth Day is another event Ms. Combs sees as very important as it too focuses on improving the community; through educating children about the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and much more these future leaders learn the importance of respect, discipline, and appreciation for the gifts we are given. Ms. Combs has received a Citation for her promotion in May 2008.
Marshall County Emergency Management is a government organization that strives to coordinate an Emergency Management System of Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery to protect the lives, environment, and property of the people of Marshall County to the extent of our training and resources.
