The MeS Virtual Terminal is a browser-based, e-commerce solution using broadband communications to process merchants' card present and card-not-present transactions. The MeS Virtual Terminal:
· Provides merchants with the ability to process payment transactions without the need to store credit card numbers on their systems—making it easier for merchants to meet data security standards associated with processing credit card payments.
· Operates maintenance free—with changes handled centrally by Merchant e-Solutions, so merchants never have to update payment software.
· Supports single and batched transactions, recurring and installment payments, and more.
· Enables merchants to reduce data entry, qualify transactions for the best rates, easily create customized reports, and control transaction risks.

By adding support for card present transactions, merchants can now use the MeS Virtual Terminal in an environment where customers make their purchases in person.

The card present feature of the MeS Virtual Terminal works in conjunction with a card reader that merchants attach to the USB port of their computer. By using a card reader to enter transactions, merchants qualify transactions for the lowest association fees.
