LOS ANGELES, CA, March 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Expert employment lawyers of the Mesriani Law Group, a leading California law firm based in Los Angeles, has again successfully obtained settlement for an employee in a claim of wrongful termination and retaliation.

Based on records, the employee was hired by the company in 2008 as operations manager whose chief task is to look after the company's inventory accounts. But while working, he discovered financial mismanagement and discrepancies and promptly notified his supervisor and the company. He even recommended means to resolve the problem. He also worked with the company's financial analyst in an attempt to resolve inventory problems.

But for fear of losing his job, he said he refrained from elevating his concerns further but continued to work on business development and other projects.
As he had noticed before, the company needed money and the company wanted to borrow capital from the bank by using its collection of tools as collateral. The company wanted him to support the company's claim of about $3,000,000 as the value of the tools, contrary to its real value, which is only about $500,000. He rejected the proposal and declared that he would not take part in making fraudulent representations to bank officials.

Because of this, in January 2010, he was terminated from work, despite his good performance. And worse, he was terminated without severance pay or any financial consideration unlike other dismissed employees who had been compensated before him. He felt his termination to be untimely and unlawful.
Because of his unexpected and unlawful termination, he suffered severe financial hardship, extreme physical and emotional distress, anxiety, humiliation and depression.

Fortunately, the illegally-dismissed employee immediately sought the assistance of the skilled employment lawyers of Mesriani Law Group. After evaluation of the case, the skilled employment lawyers found the company in violation of federal and state laws on whistle-blowing violations, wrongful termination and retaliation.

With the timely and effective representation of Mesriani Law Group, the employer was forced to go into mediation and settle the case with the victim.
