The accident occurred on March 26, 2007, while the victim was visiting her sister in Anita Avenue, Los Angeles. The victim was attacked by a dog while outside of her home, taking out the garbage.

Because of her injuries, the victim had to undergo several treatments, which interrupted her work routine and caused her loss of income.
The incident not only inflicted her with injuries but also affected her psychological and mental conditions.
