/24-7PressRelease/ - December 28, 2006 - "Stunningly beautiful...a little devastating." says Brian Graden, President of Programming at MTV, VH1, CMT, and Logo.

"ZOE'S DAY" is a short film directed by Rebecca Gwynne that chronicles what should have been a typical afternoon for seven-year-old Zoe, played by Ruby Jerins (ABC"s "Six Degrees"). Michael Kelly ("Invincible" and "Dawn of the Dead"), plays Zoe's devoted father Bill. Together Zoe and her dad romp through beautiful Park Slope, Brooklyn, on a whimsical journey of childhood wonder, only to discover that the world is not as simple as it seems.

"Zoe's Day" begins as a tension filled family breakfast comes to an end. When Bill realizes that he must get Zoe away from her angst-ridden mom, he guides her out of their apartment and into her Radio Flyer wagon for a neighborhood adventure. On their excursion to the Saturday market at Grand Army Plaza, Zoe and her dad meet a pug dog Mookie, an attentive Farmer's Market worker, and happen upon a magic carpet of pink cherry blossoms. As their day nears its end, Zoe and Bill come across something so shocking that it will change their lives forever.

Original Music for "Zoe's Day" is scored and performed by Happy Chichester of the "Howlin Maggie" and includes an exclusive recording of "Save Me" by "The Pierces".

Executive Producer Rebecca Gwynne, who is an award-winning director and Brooklyn local, filmed "Zoe's Day" in her neighborhood of Prospect Height/Park Slope. Gwynne is the head of Bella Rose Films.

Zoe's Day was produced by Bella Rose Films, with Grayson Ross as Producer and Lisa Edwards as co-producer. Director of Photography: Joe Foley, Written by: Lauran Kate Janes & Rebecca Gwynne, Based on a story by Lauran Kate Janes, Animation: Chris Roth, Editor: Rebecca Gwynne, Sound Editor: Dan O'Sullivan
