Michigan Chamber Updates Business Leaders: Get Prepared for Major Business Tax Changes
Business leaders will learn about major business tax changes on March 5, noon-1:00 pm, Lakeview Hills Golf Resort, Lexington, MI, when Greater Croswell-Lexington Chamber of Commerce sponsors speaker from Michigan Chamber.

    LEXINGTON, MI, February 14, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Greater Croswell-Lexington Chamber of Commerce invites area business leaders to attend "Get Prepared for Major Business Tax Changes" on Monday, March 5, noon to 1:00 p.m., at the Lakeview Hills Golf Resort, 6560 E. Peck Road, Lexington 48450.

The program will feature Tricia Kinley, senior director of tax and regulatory reform, Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Kinley will discuss the importance of Michigan's effort to implement business tax reform and ways to improve Michigan's tax climate. She will talk about major changes for payers resulting from new tax reforms that went into effect January 1st, as well as changes that the legislature is considering for Michigan's Business Personal Property Tax.

The cost to attend is $15 ($10 for Chamber members) and includes a soup and salad buffet. Reservations must be made by Monday, February 20. Contact Jane Lehman (810.333.3442 or croslex@greatlakes.net) to place reservations or if you have questions about the event.
