/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Teacher Education department at Midway College, known for producing some of the best teachers in Kentucky, is currently offering their prestigious online degree programs to their students in an online format. Programs are offered in the fields of Elementary, Middle School, Secondary and Special Education.
Each of Midway's Teacher Education degree programs combines practical, hands-on experience with a solid course curriculum. The department's faculty members, led by Dr. Charles Roberts, are highly experienced in their fields and committed to the success of their students as future teachers. This department prides itself on a perfect record; 100 percent of Midway College Teacher Education students receive their provisional licensure after graduation.
The Teacher Education program at Midway College has achieved an "Excellent" rating from the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board. The online BA programs in Teacher Education prepare students to achieve their Initial Teaching Certification upon graduation.
Students enrolled in the Elementary and Middle School programs will be expertly guided towards mastering all of the necessary skills for teacher certification in Kentucky. Those students in the Learning and Behavior Disorders, Mathematics and English specializations will work towards their certification in that specific area of focus. These degree programs may be accepted towards teacher certification in other states as well.
