Mike Ditka Resorts would like to announce former football players Derrick Brooks, Mike McBath, Barry Smith, J. Harrell, Ron Dixon, Kenard Lang, William Floyd, Walter Briggs, Don Jonas, Derrick Alexander, Corey Sawyer, and Beau Jarrel, as well as former World Champion Wrestler Ray Lloyd and Team USA skier Terry Ahola, as celebrities that will be in attendance at Mike Ditka Resorts Annual Celebrity Golf Outing on April 16th - 18th, 2010.
Derrick Brooks played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 14 seasons as a linebacker. During his time with the Buccaneers, he was an 11 time Pro Bowl selection and nine-time All-Pro. Brooks was also named the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2002 and he earned a Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII.
Mike McBath is a former Buffalo Bills player who played five seasons (1968-1972) in the NFL and was released in 1972 after suffering a sciatic nerve injury. He then went on to cofound the Orlando Predators, one of the Arena Football Leagues most successful franchises.
Barry Smith is a former wide receiver who played for both the Green Bay Packers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before retiring from the game in 1976.
J. Harrell played professional football as a linebacker for the Denver Broncos, the Detroit Lions, and the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL.
Ron Dixon is a former wide receiver for the New York Giants in the NFL. He is most notably known for his 97 yard kick return in Super Bowl XXXV.
Kenard Lang is a former defensive end who played for the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, and Denver Broncos.
William Floyd is a former American football fullback who played seven seasons in the NFL, playing for both the San Francisco 49er's and the Carolina Panthers.
Walter Briggs is a former quarterback who played for the New York Jets in 1987.
Don Jonas is a former American football quarterback in the American Semi-Professional League and the Canadian Football League.
Derrick Alexander, who played nine seasons in the NFL, played as a defensive end/defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Cleveland Browns.
Corey Sawyer played as a cornerback for the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets.
Beau Jarrel, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer, will also be in attendance.
Ray Lloyd, also known as Glacier, is a former World Champion Wrestler who has won many titles during his time in the ring.
Terry Ahola spent three seasons on the US Ski Team from 1982-1984.
