With a specialization in geriatrics, Dr. Navarro is responsible for treating dementia, fall prevention, polypharmacy evaluation and providing rehabilitation services. She has great passion for geriatric medicine and attributes her success to her hard work and caring nature. Dr. Navarro considers treating and helping patients recover to be the most fulfilling aspect of her career. Dr. Navarro received her MD from the University of Santo Tomas in 1998. She completed her fellowship in Geriatrics at the Stanford University Hospital & Clinics and her residency at the University of California Irvine-Kern Medical Center in 2006. Dr. Navarro is affiliated with the Santa Clara County Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Geriatrics Society and the American Medical Directors Association. She stays current with the trends in her profession by participating in mentorship programs, reading industry-related publications and enrolling in continuing medical courses.
