Mission Arlington, State Farm Agent Linda Allen and Other Good Neighbors Pitch in to Collect Food, Money, Clothing, and other Necessities for Families Displaced by Tornadoes

    FORT WORTH, TX, April 07, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- State Farm Agent Linda Allen takes her company's motto to heart. Like a good neighbor, Allen and her team are collecting food, money, clothing, and other necessities for victims of the approximately one dozen tornadoes that tore through Lancaster, Arlington, Dallas, and North Texas. "We would like people to donate to help those who have had their homes destroyed or severely damaged," said Allen, a State Farm agent in Saginaw, Texas.

Bring donations to Linda Allen's office at 8101 Boat Club Road, Suite 240 in Saginaw/Eagle Mountain Lake any weekday from 9 am to 5:30 pm or Saturday from 9 am to noon. "Thus far, the response has been terrific, but we are a long way from being able to help all of those who have asked. We are especially in need of non-perishable food items and toiletries," said Allen.

Money collected will go to the local Red Cross. Food, clothing, and other necessities will go to the Mission Arlington to be distributed. Tornado victims in need of aid should contact the Red Cross at 817.335.9137 and Mission Arlington is handling delivering collected supplies to tornado victims.
