MIT Cables Launches New Headphone Cabling System

Manufacturer releases new Vero headphone cable on Indiegogo

SACRAMENTO, CA, April 10, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MIT Cables is moving into the more popular personal audio and headphone market as it enters its 31st year as one of the leading manufacturers of high performance audio and video cabling and power line treatments. The company plans to develop products in the coming year that fit into a more modern audio listening lifestyle. The Vero Revolutionary Headphone Cabling System is MIT's first attempt at manufacturing a headphone cable, making it the first to be housed with MIT's patented Multipole Technology, used in all of the cables MIT manufactures.

"What the Vero technology does, is it works to create an effect more similar to what we get from ultra high-end loudspeakers today," adds Loughlin. "Our job is to try and get closer to the music, closer to the recorded event. In Italian, Vero means true, and that's what you'll get with our Vero headphone cable, truth in audio."

Vero was released on an Indiegogo Crowdfunding campaign early this morning and features the Vero Full Range Headphone Cable, the Vero Standard Universal Dongle and the Vero Bass Dongle. The best "perk" prices were limited to MIT Buyers Club members offering them a discounted price of 75% off of the estimated MSRP of $499 for the Vero Full Range Cable. The Vero Indiegogo campaign will give all backers a discounted price ranging from 40% to 60% off. The campaign has raised 85% of its $10,000.00 goal during its first few hours. You can find the Vero Indiegogo Campaign at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/vero-revolutionary-headphone-cable

Vero will be available in different configurations to accommodate multiple brands and models of headphones. Vero will also come in a Standard Universal "dongle" version that can be used with existing stock headphone cables, furnishing them with the same interface used with the Full Range "Vero" cable. MIT Cables has decided to include a Vero Bass "dongle" and limited quantities of a Vero "Combo" perk, pairing the Vero Full Range Cable with the Vero Bass "dongle". Resellers can also take advantage of the campaign with three different perks offering multiple units of the Vero Full Range Cable, the Vero Standard Universal Dongle and the Bass Dongle.

"This is our first foray into personal audio, and for thirty years MIT has dedicated itself to making the best interfacing products in the world at the greatest return on investment." says Kent Loughlin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MIT Cables. "We want our backers to get the best return on investment while providing us with valuable market research that will enable us to bring a better product to market."
