The MLB Players Alumni Charity Dinner and Golf Classic helps promote the efforts the Alumni's Association within the Atlanta community. This event also continues the tradition of donating a portion of the proceeds from the silent auction to the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
More than 25 former Baseball Legends will participate in this year's event, including: Otis Nixon, Chris Chambliss, Charlie Leibrandt, Pete Smith, Darrel Chaney, Alejandro Pena, Marty Perez, Zane Smith & MORE.
The reception will be held at Barnsley Gardens Beer Garden and Town Hall where the MLB Legends will be introduced and available for autographs and pictures throughout the charity dinner. In addition, hundreds of unique auction items will be displayed and be available in both the live and silent charity auctions.
The Golf Classic will be played on "The General" course at the beautiful Barnsley Gardens Resort. This Par 72, 7,350 yard course is well known for its lush emerald fairways and bent-grass greens and is recognized to have some of the fastest greens in the Southeast. "The General" will dazzle golfers of any skill level.
Price:
Dinner- $20 per person
Golf - $275 per person & $1,000 per foursome
Hole Sponsor- $250 per hole
Accommodations- $150/per night
