MSSI has already received an official patent for the Modular Access Control (MAC) Portal outside of the United States and MSSI is optimistic that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office will grant it patents in the near future.
MSSI's patent applications cover a Containerized Access Control System. The patent applications are not turnstile type specific, meaning the patent applications have claims which cover any type of a barrier device including half-height turnstiles and other types of barrier devices. MSSI has been well pleased with the performance of all makes and models of barrier devices that it has installed thus far in its manufacturing of the MAC Security Portal.
