/24-7PressRelease/ - POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, June 20, 2008 - In response to increased demand in Europe, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has added a second Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) Master Class in Spain.
The class will be held June 30 to July 3, at NH La Habana Hotel, in Madrid.
IAOP is partnering with global training firm Quint Wellington Redwood (Quint) to conduct training sessions around the world that prepare professionals for the prestigious outsourcing industry COP designation, a globally recognized standard of excellence for outsourcing professionals.
An integral part of the association's COP program, the Master Class provides outsourcing customers, providers and advisors with an intensive learning experience on the latest end-to-end processes for outsourcing success.
The COP Master Class curriculum has been enhanced to reflect the latest in outsourcing and The Outsourcing Professional Body of Knowledge (OPBOK). Individuals completing the course earn half of the 150 points needed for certification.
"As interest in the COP certification builds strong momentum globally, we continue to expand our COP Master Class training to meet the needs of professionals who want to demonstrate their excellence through industry certification," said Christina Powers, IAOP managing director of certification and training.
"Since outsourcing is of growing interest in Europe, IAOP is focusing efforts in this region to better serve professionals through tailored training and education programs," she said.
In addition to the new COP Master Class in Madrid, IAOP also is presenting The 2008 European Outsourcing Summit, October 16-17, at the IESE Business School, University of Navarra in Barcelona.
