VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, April 14, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Unveiling its Spring 2009 collection, Stick Me Designs further established its reputation for breakout style and innovative functionality with its latest selection of attractive glucose meter testing bags. In addition to introducing four fresh patterns to its best-selling Deluxe carrying cases, the Spring '09 collection launches an entirely new line of messenger bags under the Switch Me label.

The new messenger bags include a D-Mate diabetes supply clutch, incorporating six endless-use pockets and nine different elastic placeholders of varying sizes. The compact D-Mate clutch can either be tucked inside the messenger bag pocket, or clipped securely to the interior with room to boot.

Available for the messenger bags are designer switchable flaps, for a quick, and economical change in style and personality - hence the Switch Me moniker. Stick Me Designs has introduced four flap designs in its Spring '09 collection, with plans to add over 10 more in the coming months.

"What sets our bags apart is that we consistently deliver fun, fresh, and functional designs developed with active input from diabetics living active lifestyles, not just a re-do of the boring manufacturers design."

Velte had been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes while she was pregnant with her second son and got just a small dose of living with diabetes. On the contrary, Velte found the medical look of her black nylon supply a bit depressing. Failing to find any stylish and fun alternatives on the market, Velte began to suspect that she wasn't the only one looking for a diabetic kit bag that reflected a positive, active personality. And so she launched Stick Me Designs.

"Each of our bags puts functionality first," said Velte. "But fresh, upbeat, positive designs make just as practical a contribution to the lifestyle of a person living with diabetes. We think of details such as the thoughtful arrangement of pockets and elastic placeholders. Eventually, I plan on making Stick Me Designs the diabetes lifestyle brand, with functional stylish apparel, and collections to be enjoyed by kids, tweens and anyone who is searching for some style and function with their diabetes".
