/24-7PressRelease/ - MONTREAL, QC, CANADA, June 20, 2008 - October Sky voted #4 artist on Musiqueplus for the Music Video "Hit The Ground" lend helping support for the non profit organization Serving Charity on July 12th, 2008, 9pm at the EL MOCAMBO 464 Spadina Ave., Cost: $10. Proceeds from the event will aid Serving Charity in aiding the poor and homeless of Toronto. The focus of Serving Charity is to serve the poor, especially the poorest of the poor. The Hungry, Unloved, Unwanted all over the world. Every night Serving Charity hits the streets of Toronto to serve food and water to those who need it most.
"I'm very proud to be part of this event, anything to help those in need is the greatest thing an individual can do. People have to remember not to takes things for granted in this world; some people really have it tough. So anything to help a cause like this, we are proud to be part of." Says Yanik Rouleau, Keyboardist of October Sky.

About: An uplifting adventure, October Sky has the power to propel explosive lights and sound with an interactive spectacle
over airwaves of unique creativity. With strong comparison to Muse, Radiohead & Coldplay, but with an edge to make people jump off their feet and experience the higher limits of musicianship.
October Sky's strengths lie in their determination and hard work, everything they have accomplished thus far has been all self-produced. Their live shows are not comparable to many indie bands; they take great pride in self-producing high quality performance shows to crowds of 500 fans in their hometown of Montreal.
2008 has been a busy year, with their soon to be released album "Hell Isn't My Home" in September 2008 accompanied with the support of their music video "Hit the Ground". Their second music video for "Hell Isn't My Home" is already in post-production and will be released later this year. October Sky's "Hell Isn't My Home" Canadian & US tour is set to kick off in September, seeing them tour extensively from coast to coast.
