/24-7PressRelease/ - June 13, 2007 - A lot has been written in recent weeks concerning The Dangerous Book for Boys. Author Max Elliot Anderson became fascinated by all the excitement, and encouraged at the same time.

Some of the aspects being promoted about The Dangerous Book for Boys include how to tie various knots, to make paper airplanes, or even to build a sort of go-kart. The book promotes adventure in the lives of boys. This sense of adventure has been a goal of Mr. Anderson's as he began writing action-adventures and mysteries especially for boys 8 - 13.

Why does he write books for boys? "Because there simply aren't enough of them," he said. "I'm just now working on manuscript # 35. To date, seven of my books for boys are published. I like to call them more dangerous books for boys."

Each book contains humor, lots of dialog, and plenty of heart-pounding action. "I don't spend a lot of time on details," Mr. Anderson said. "Guys want to get right to the adventure and action."

His published books include NEWSPAPER CAPER, TERROR AT WOLF LAKE, NORTH WOODS POACHERS, MOUNTAIN CABIN MYSTERY, BIG RIG RUSTLERS, SECRET OF ABBOTT'S CAVE & LEGEND OF THE WHITE WOLF, which are compared by readers and reviewers to Tom Sawyer, The Hardy Boys, Huck Finn, Nancy Drew, Tom Swift, Scooby-Doo, Lemony Snicket, and adventure author Jack London.

Parents and children agree on their excitement after reading one or more of Max Elliot Anderson's books.

"I love your book," says an eleven year-old reader. "It teaches to be prepared for the worst and to take actions for what's right, and not just leave it to somebody else. I love this book and I'm going to buy lots more to read from your series."

A mother writes, "I don't know when I've ever seen my son so excited about a book."

Max Elliot Anderson's books are perfect for summer reading, especially for boys who might not like to read. If there is a boy in your family, or in your circle of friends, he will enjoy these action-adventures and mysteries.
