• Gaming manager jobs: According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics' salary data, the top 10% of gaming managers earn an average of $106,220 per year, with the most lucrative region being Nevada.
• Research jobs: Market research is another new category that also offers jobs paying more than $100,000 per year.
• Loan officer jobs: Some loan officers also fall into the unconventional $100K job category. These include job positions like commercial loan officer, construction loan underwriter, mortgage broker, and other similar jobs.
• Supervisor jobs: Jobs paying $100K in this category include job titles like maintenance supervisor, copy supervisor, production supervisor, and the like.
• Agricultural manager jobs: The top earners in this category receive an average of $100,050 annually.
• IT architect jobs: On average, IT architects earn a salary of $105,000, while system architects earn $110,000.
Meanwhile, the salaries of the C-level executives are also rising. "We have also seen a rise in the salaries offered in the $100K job openings posted on our site," adds Barnes.
According to the latest survey by ExecuNet, executive compensation increased by 5.7% during the last year and is expected to get a further boost of 6.2% in the coming year. The average annual compensation of C-level executives was reported as $206,000. The survey also gave an average-salary breakdown for various industries:
• Finance -- $236,000
• General management -- $216,000
• Sales -- $204,000
• MIS/IT -- $201,000
• Marketing -- $186,000
• Human resources -- $185,000
