/24-7PressRelease/ -- Last year, God blessed Pamela K. Norwood and Anthony L. Norwood to both release Christian books. Pamela was blessed to release Sweet Inspirations for the Soul, while Anthony was blessed to release Bible Understanding Made Easy, Volume 1: The Old Testament.
The Christian Chronicle magazine praised Sweet Inspirations for the Soul with these words, "Pencil sketches by the author's 14-year-old daughter accompany 20 thoughts of encouragement and Scripture. The book is suitable for mother/daughter ministries, women's ministries or devotionals..." (September 2009).
This fine magazine also praised Bible Understanding Made Easy, Volume 1: The Old Testament with these exciting words, "Norwood, minister for the Moore Avenue Church of Christ in Anniston, Ala., offers a summary of the contents of each Old Testament book before drawing on ways in which that book takes on contemporary significance. Pamela describes her wonderful book of Christian poetry as "Everyone has an inspiration in them just waiting to let out of their soul...SWEET INSPIRATIONS FOR THE SOUL is just the book for everyone or anyone that needs spiritual inspiration, spiritual uplifting, or just want to soothe their minds and think about God's world that we live in today. God wants us to have peace and be at rest in our life, as the Scriptures inspire each of us to encourage and comfort each other..." Pamela wrote this book soon after becoming a young, widow. She wrote these poems through many tears. She hopes that God's work within her, after this lose, will help other suffering souls overcome times of great adversity through faith in the Lord.
Anthony describes his work as, "Bible Understanding Made Easy is a series of books used to inspire and teach the Word of God to sincere souls that are trying to draw closer to God. This volume is dedicated to building understanding of the Old Testament portion of the Holy Bible. Many of the world's prominent religions are based on the teachings of the Old Testament including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam...The method of teaching used in this book was purposely kept as simple as possible so that beginning students of the Bible can be inspired and build a rich foundation of understanding the Bible that will last a lifetime!"
Anthony spent considerable amounts of time in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, as a young man. He met many friends along the way crossing over Detroit's Ambassador Bridge to enjoy the sights, sounds, and people of Windsor! Anthony is originally a native of metro Detroit.
If the Lord Wills, Pamela plans to release a sequel to her book, Sweet Inspirations for the Soul, in 2010. Anthony has been blessed to release Bible Understanding Made Easy, Volume 2: Matthew's Gospel in July 2009. He is currently working on volume 3, which will be based on Mark's Gospel, if the Lord Wills.
