/24-7PressRelease/ - CLIFTON PARK, NY, April 22, 2008 - Four artists on a mission! They're hoping that this upcoming scheduled event will draw many people. "Pete's always worked very hard and has been a help to many people, now it's his turn", quotes a very disheartened yshwa4life. "He was best man at my wedding, a family guy, and a great local role model, it's very sad to see such a wonderful guy go down like this, we intend to bring in as many people as we can but the need is great, he's got three kids". "Bring your mothers and come and enjoy an afternoon of excitement and praise for Our God who always supplies for our every need!!" "There's also gonna be a couple of other suprises!"
With a mixture of metal and hip hop for the younger crowd to start off with and the smooth jazzy flavor of Kerensas keyboard and Christophers Ames adult contemporary rock to finish things up, it should be quite an event.
Peter Alden has gone through 5 years of life threatening conditions, at 34 yrs old, he was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in May of 2003. After chemotherapy, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant he achieved remission. Since then he has been dealing with the effects of chronic Graft vs Host disease, among other complications and hospitalizations. This past December after 2 months of fighting off pneumonia, Peter was hospitalized with a high fever and intense body pain. Later that week he was diagnosed with HUS (Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome) and TTP (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura). This has caused kidney failure and a low platelet count. At this time Peter is unable to work and cannot be left alone for too long, making it difficult for his wife Tracy to go back to work as well. They have applied for social security benefits but payments are being delayed. We hope that anyone and everyone we know & love can help us in supporting them in their struggles. Pete, Tracy, and their 3 kids have been through so much in the last five years, and despite their hardships have remained a close loving family.
