/24-7PressRelease/ -- On Wednesday, Nov. 12, Ripon College students will be showing their support of finding a cure for Huntington's Disease by entertaining guests during the second annual Mr. Ripon Man Pageant. The event will take place on the Ripon College campus in Great Hall of the Harwood Memorial Union at 7 p.m. Tickets will be $2 in advance and $3 at the door.
While trying to raise funds for Huntington's Disease, a degenerative brain disorder which there is no cure or treatment for, students will show off their talents in swimwear, formalwear, talent and knowledge of Huntington's Disease.
Last year, the Mr. Ripon Man Pageant raised over $1,200. This year, the service learning course that plans the event has been challenged to more than double last year's total and raise $3,000.
