Kids can choose a book from the interactive talking library shelf or listen to one of Mrs. P's original exciting adventures. They also have the chance to read along with Mrs. P through a special subtitle section.
The website endeavors to expose young people to great books and stories through a celebrity storyteller and to spark their imaginations and creativity with on-line games and writing contests. Mrs. P is the recipient of The National Parenting Center 2009 Seal of Approval and the American Library Association distinction of "Great Website for Kids." Enter the Mrs. P writing contest for Children coming September 1, 2009
Mrs. P will launch her first writing contest on September 1, 2009. Children are invited to write a story on any topic, not to exceed 1,000 words and no less than 250 words. It may be fiction or nonfiction. All participants must be ages 4 to 13 (there will be 2 separate categories). Complete details can be found on http://www.MrsP.com beginning September 1 under the blue ribbon icon in the Magic Library.
The two (2) Grand Prizes will be awarded and they will have their stories read by Mrs. P and original illustrations will be created. Each lucky child will receive an actual copy of the story in addition to having it posted on http://www.MrsP.com for viewers to watch and enjoy. Mrs. P Enterpises, LLC will pay all costs of producing the winning book. Other winners will receive gift certificates from Powell's Books, a proud sponsor of Mrs. P.
