MRSA Fears Driving Handwashing Poster Business

/24-7PressRelease/ - SALEM, NY, November 07, 2007 - John Lundgren has a problem. He can't keep his hand washing posters in stock as schools, hospitals, and the general public promote the Center of Disease Control's advice: "The best defense against MRSA and other germs is the act of hand washing!" With new cases of MRSA in the news every day, hand washing is being promoted on a scale never seen before.

Lundgren started his hand washing poster business after observing his 7th grade students eating food off the top of their desks, swapping gum, and sharing sips of soda from the same bottle. The attitude of his young students seemed to be, "If you can't see a germ, it doesn't exist!" Lundgren thought it was time that students young and old learned that what you can't see can hurt you, and his poster idea was born. This all happened six years ago.

As fate would have it, one of Lundgren's past students was an artist by the name of Scott Lenhardt. Scott is well known in the snowboard industry as the designer of over 40 Burdon snow boards. Scott's wild designs are great attention getters on the ski slopes as well as on the hand washing posters he designs for Lundgren's website at http://www.1st-in-handwashing.com

One of Scott's recent designs is called "Stop Superbugs" and the first printing sold out the first week says Lundgren. This kind of problem is always welcome as long as customers don't mind a delay of shipment of a week or two. Meanwhile, the fear of MRSA and other superbugs continues to drive people to Lundgren's website in search of posters that encourage hand washing.

According to the CDC, most healthy people will survive a bout with MRSA. However, weak and infirm people can be very vulnerable to this germ. The best defense against MRSA and other germs continues to be the same advice given by mothers everywhere, "Scrub those hands!"

Our handwashing posters are the leading choice for schools, hospitals, and nursing homes across the country. They work like magic getting people to wash their hands.
