/24-7PressRelease/ - ORLANDO, FL, March 21, 2007 - InfoSec World 2007 - M-Tech Information Technology, Inc. and Approva Corporation announced a partnership today that affords customers the ability to combine M-Tech's user provisioning solution with Approva's continuous controls monitoring (CCM) solution.
The combined solution allows organizations to extract actual user rights from managed systems, using M-Tech's ID-Synch. This data is fed into Approva's BizRights CCM Platform, which seeks out violations of security policies such as separation of duties. Violations can either be approved as exceptions or fed back into ID-Synch for correction.
In addition to analysis of pre-existing user rights, ID-Synch and Approva can work together to prevent new violations. ID-Synch can call out to Approva in real time, to validate proposed security changes before implementing them on target systems.
"By leveraging Approva's BizRights CCM Platform we enable our user provisioning customers to enforce stringent security policies, such as separation of duties and limited access to sensitive data, without having to build out a comprehensive privilege model.
