/24-7PressRelease/ - June 04, 2008 - Mu-Gahat, the complete RFID development lifecycle specialist, announced today its acceptance as an associate member of the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA).
"Mu-Gahat's leading printed circuit technologies have many applications, ranging from precision RFID prototyping to applications in the gaming industry that we will be releasing soon," said Baxter Watkins, CEO of Mu-Gahat Enterprises. "Our membership in NIGA reaffirms our commitment to the Native American community and we look forward to exchanging ideas with other members and ultimately presenting an industry leading gaming technology to NA gaming market," says Watkins, an enrolled member of the Choctaw Tribe of Oklahoma.
Mu-Gahat's inaugural gaming technologies, scheduled for release later this year, include patented and patent pending products for accurate, secure tracking of playing cards and chips, even when stacked. By tracking cards and chips with unique IDs that can be traced to a particular casino and table, fair play authentication and trend assessment can be more easily performed.
"Mu-Gahat's playing card and chip approach are truly paradigm shifting technologies -- not traditional UHF or HF RFID as has been previously seen in the industry," said Douglas Florence, surveillance and gaming operations expert and member of Mu-Gahat's technology advisory council. "It is exciting to see ultra-thin technologies for gaming enhancements finally becoming reality."
In addition, Mu-Gahat will also be offering integrated RFID enabled Player Tracking cards, increasing hands played per hour and enabling more efficient Player's Club rewards to be given based upon historical betting patterns and other information.
These innovations in playing cards, chips, and player tracking cards can both increase casino profits and enable more tailored, valuable rewards programs for players, dramatically enhancing both casino profitability and reputation.
The National Indian Gaming Association is a nonprofit trade association comprised of 184 American Indian Nations and other nonvoting associate members. The common commitment and purpose of NIGA is to advance the lives of Indian people - economically, socially and politically. NIGA operates as a clearinghouse and educational, legislative and public policy resource for tribes, policymakers and the public on Indian gaming issues and tribal community development.
