The new menu items have been added in response to Mugs ongoing customer surveys.
Owner Abe Moussa, stays in close contact with his patrons listening carefully to what they say and what they want. Moussa has created a very useful interactive website for patrons where they can see daily specials, order on online, order gift cards or complete a customer survey telling him anything they want in a safe comfortable environment.
Moussa has taken his efforts to stay in touch with his customers a big step further and is using social media to engage his patrons. Moussa says, "We really listen to our customers and work hard to deliver what they want. They asked for lower carb items and we added salads. They asked for vegetarian items and we added them. They asked for fresh fish off the boat, we provide it. They asked for smaller portions, so we now have 2 sizes. They asked for more beers on tap and we delivered. They asked for a dark chocolate dessert as well a completely decadent one and we put it on the menu. As well, we are happy to serve one dessert with 2 spoons." Moussa's philosophy is that Mugs on Missouri patrons should feel comfortable to come in and relax with "no pressure". He wants them to feel they are welcome to come in for a beer and to watch a game, or to participate in Karaoke, or maybe have an appetizer and dessert, or an entire meal - whatever they want to do.
He carries this philosophy throughout the restaurant with free wireless internet and phone chargers conveniently located around the facility. He even added a combination of low tops and high tops to the outdoor dining area.
Mugs on Missouri open for lunch or dinner has an upbeat atmosphere that appeals to all ages. Mugs has much to offer whatever your mood: a reasonable priced meal, happy hour drink pricing all day or just a place to grab a cold beer (24 on tap) and watch your favorite team (27 large TVs' with different events), or the opportunity to grab a mic and sing your heart out (karaoke 5 nights a week).
