Mulligan Funding's Partnership with the BBB Student Ambassador Program Helps Prepare Young Entrepreneurs for Success

Mulligan Mulligan Funding is pleased to announce their partnership and support of the Better Business Bureau's Student Ambassador Program.

SAN DIEGO, CA, August 11, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mulligan Mulligan Funding is pleased to announce their partnership and support of the Better Business Bureau's Student Ambassador Program. This 2017 sponsorship opportunity allowed Mulligan Funding to contribute to the success of over 19,000 young entrepreneurs in the San Diego, California area.

The objective of the program is to educate students and young entrepreneurs about the marketplace and how to distinguish legitimate businesses from bogus ones.

The voluntary participants of the Student Ambassador Program were given educational training on various related topics before being asked to devise and present their learnings to different student groups. Students were asked to give three presentations in a span of three months, and participants had the option of delivering their presentation individually or paired with another group member. The three participants or groups reaching the most peers with their presentations were awarded scholarships on behalf of the Student Ambassador Program.

Students from 12 different high schools in San Diego County volunteered to participate in the 2017 Student Ambassador Program. Nearly 19,000 students across more than 200 presentations learned valuable lessons from the student ambassadors about how to protect themselves from unscrupulous business opportunities. The efforts from the student ambassadors have helped in the efforts to protect consumers and entrepreneurs and make the marketplace safer.

While only three entries in the Student Ambassador Program took home cash scholarships, all of the participants received a certificate of recognition for their extensive volunteer work. Each one was treated to dinner following the conclusion of the program to recognize their efforts, and also to hear from program sponsors and other members of the Better Business Bureau.

As the Title Sponsor of the Better Business Bureau's Student Ambassador Program, David Leibowitz, CEO of Mulligan Funding, was honored to speak at the dinner to further deliver a message of the importance of considering their career paths closely and to discuss business integrity.
