Music To The Rescue!

Local non-profits join together with musicians to present Woof & Hoof Music Festival, an end-of-summer event to benefit animal lives.

GLENMOORE, PA, June 21, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Join us at the Woof & Hoof Music Festival taking place Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Ludwig's Corner Horse Show Grounds in Glenmoore, PA. Lulu's Rescue and Ludwig's Corner Horse Show Association have teamed up to organize a day-long music festival that will include a variety of vendors and artists, delicious local food trucks, Stone Barn Cellars Winery, and the fantastic Stickman Brews. Additionally, Lulu's Rescue will be bringing several of their adorable and adoptable rescue pups for an old-fashioned meet and greet, with the hopes of finding them loving homes. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day for the entire family.

This end-of- summer event, presented by The Songwriter's Conspiracy, will have legendary radio personality and co-founder of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Gene Shay, emceeing the day's performances. The artist line-up will include many well-known musicians, such as Victoria Williams, Commander Cody & The Lost Planet Airmen, Chris Kasper, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix, Annachristie & The Sapphires, Travis Wetzel Trio, Sharon Little, and Caroline Reese, among others. Many of these artists can be heard on Philadelphia based WXPN and other national broadcasters such as SiriusXM.

Lulu's Rescue is a mostly volunteer, companion animal rescue group focused on ending the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter initiatives, humane education and rescue. Ludwig's Corner Horse Show is one of the longest running shows in the area and a Chester County tradition for over 70 years. Its foundation is focused on preserving the horse tradition of Chester County by maintaining the show grounds for horse and dog shows and community events. Proceeds from the Woof & Hoof Music Festival will benefit both organizations and help them with their goal to save and improve animal lives.

Tickets through June are $30 and thereafter are $35 in advance. Tickets at the door are $40, and kids under 12 are FREE. Lulu's Rescue and Ludwig's Corner Horse Show Association Foundation each have 501c3 non-profit status. Consult a tax adviser or the IRS for specifics concerning your contribution.
