/24-7PressRelease/ -- My Marketing Department announces that its CEO, Allen Jernigan, has been selected to judge the Eighth Annual International Business Awards ("The International Stevies.")
Jernigan is participating in the preliminary rounds of judging for the awards. Jernigan has participated in judging the American Business Awards ("The American Stevies") in 2007, 2008 and 2009, and has also served as a judge for the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce's "Outstanding Business of the Year" Awards.
Last year the Stevie Awards received more than 1,700 entries from individuals and organizations from more than 40 countries. There are more than 40 awards categories, ranging from "Best New Product" to "Executive of the Year." There are also categories for customer service, media campaigns, live corporate events, corporate literature, websites/interactive media and support departments.
"It's really exciting to be taking part in the judging for such a large and diverse competition," said Jernigan. "It's an opportunity to peek under the hood at what makes these people and companies succeed.
