/24-7PressRelease/ - AMMAN, JORDAN, June 09, 2007 - Nancy Ajram and Assi Helani, two of the most popular singers in the Arab world today, are all set to regale music lovers in with their foot-tapping melodies once they perform in the LG Digital Music Festival, in Abu Dhabi's Beach Rotana Hotel.
The concert is set to take place on June 7th 2007. The duo's performance at the LGE Digital Music Festival is to offer music lovers an opportunity to see and hear one of the world's most beloved artists as they take center-stage.
Nancy Ajram began her career in the mid-1990s, however came to the forefront of the music industry in 2003 with the release of her multiple award-winning album Ya Salam. Subsequent hits followed and she has now become a household name in the Middle East. Playing alongside Nancy is equally famed superstar Assi Helani, who is popularly known as the "Arab Knight".
Helani began his singing career in 1989 by winning a singing competition, and since then has grown, both in reputation and musical caliber. In 2005, he added his name to the list of celebrities promoting the United Nations' World Food Program, consolidating his commitment to social responsibility and awareness.
Event organizers say that tickets have almost sold out due to the larger-than-life celebrity status the two stars enjoy. The LGE Digital Music Festival is a well-established entertainment event in the region, having hosted some of the most popular stars of the region in Qatar, Syria, Beirut and Dubai.
Mr. C. H. Lee, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE, said: "Once again, the LGE Digital Music Festival is pleased to present some of the finest musical experiences to audiences in the region. Nancy Ajram and Assi Helani are two of the most celebrated performers whose popularity spans outside of the Middle East. The LG Digital Music Festival will be held at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi on Thursday, June 7 from 9 pm onwards and is open to the public. Tickets are priced at US$ 25, US$ 200 and US$ 125 (inclusive of dinner), and are available at the Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
