Nancy Christensen Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Clinical Trials

After working as a temporary office manager at a small CRO, Ms. Christensen learned about clinical research and fell in love with the industry. She brings over 18 years of experience in clinical trials to her position as a Senior Clinical Research Associate for RPS, Inc., a global CRO. For the past five years in this position, she has been responsible for monitoring clinical trials, establishing protocols, auditing data gathered from studies and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. She utilizes her expertise in interpersonal relationships, to monitor clinical trials across a wide array of therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Endocrinology, CNS, Infectious disease, Psychiatry, Rheumatology, Cardiovascular, Hematology, Reproductive health, and many more areas, to achieve success in her field.

Before working at RPS, Ms. Christensen worked as a CRA at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, EMD Serono, Inc. and Amgen. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish literature from Mills College in 1989. From 1977 to 1978 she attended the San Francisco State University's nursing program. She maintains affiliations with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, where she is certified, and volunteers her time at local community charities. Looking ahead, she hopes to obtain a secondary degree and provide training to others.
