/24-7PressRelease.com/ - February 17, 2005 - Scott Ladd, longtime San Fernando Valley businessman and owner of Billy's Delicatessens, announced that Nancy Misensol has been promoted to Regional Vice President overseeing the Glendale and Torrance locations plus future Southern California acquisitions.
Misensol, who has been in the food service/hospitability industry for over 20 years, has been manager of the Torrance location for over four years prior to Ladd's purchase. She will supervise and be the day-to-day manager for the 100-plus Billy's employees.
Misensol will also be charged with augmenting each location's advantage. Glendale is famous for its deli style restaurant plus a large catering clientele. The Torrance restaurant has a strong banquet room and high traffic family restaurant. A strong catering business is the immediate focus of the South Bay expansion.
"Aside from her very knowledgeable restaurant experience, Nancy is extremely customer oriented. She has put in some very long days yet will greet customers with a smile at the end of the day as well as the beginning," said Ladd who bought the Glendale eatery over four years ago and the Torrance facility just over a year ago.
Billy's Deli and Caf is a landmark in both locations. The Torrance location - formerly The Cimarron Caf - has been a Torrance institution for over 50 years but is the sibling compared to 57 years for the Glendale restaurant.
