ROSWELL, GA, September 02, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "It is not enough for a drug addict to go through our program and become drug-free," states Mary Rieser, Executive Director for Narconon Drug Rehab. "We encourage them to take an active part in their community and reverse the downward trend. Families, communities and whole cities are affected by drug abuse and its attendant crime. For many it seems hopeless. We teach them it is not."

Many graduates, once having completed the Narconon Drug Rehab, will not only become drug-free, but will also lecture to schools and PTA's on their experiences to help others avoid the traps they once found themselves in. Others get friends and family members who are suffering from drug addiction to attend a Narconon Drug Rehab. They return and join a new group of drug-free, responsible friends. Thus, the calm and happiness begins to spread where there was once nothing but suffering.

This is most reflected with a group of graduates in North Carolina. A year ago one gentleman successfully participated in the Narconon program. He returned home and let some friends know about Narconon. He is now surrounded by 7 others who have successfully completed the Narconon program. The families of these 7 people are happy. Together, they are creating an island of sanity with clean, happy and successful people. The world of drugs is far behind them.

Ms. Rieser states: "Narconon graduates and their families do make a difference in the world because our program works. The war on drugs may look hopeless, but together, we can turn things around and get things headed in the right direction.

"It starts with an individual getting clean through the Narconon program. This individual brings sanity to the family. The family and the graduate then refer other drug addicts in the area to Narconon and they too return home to their community as clean and productive citizens."

While it may appear that drug addiction is an incurable "disease", there is a solution: The Narconon Drug Rehab Program.
