The
Narconon program in Michigan has been rehabilitating individuals from drug and alcohol addiction for over 7 years. In 2009 alone over 185 people started on the road to free themselves from long-term addiction problems when they started the Narconon Freedom Center drug rehab program. The long-term residential treatment facility has been helping people throughout the state of Michigan and all over the United States since opening its doors with by providing a results-based solution to substance abuse problems.
The Narconon program has been around since 1966 and operates 150 centers in 50 different countries and has been a model of success as it addresses drug and alcohol problems in a unique fashion. The program does this by first handling the biophysical factors and then the mental factors involved in addiction and then giving the client the instruction he or she needs to isolate and correct the points in their own lives that led them into addiction to begin with while raising their abilities.
This unique treatment is one of the reasons why Narconon Freedom Center achieves a more than 70% success rate for permanent sobriety. But, Narconon Freedom Center has not only been achieving results with its drug rehab program but has also been reaching out throughout 2009 into the community to raise awareness of the dangers of substance abuse and how to prevent it.
In November, Narconon Freedom Center participated in the Harper Creek Optimist Club annual holiday parade to promote a drug-free holiday and New Year. During the same month, world renowned drug education lecturer and Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor, Bobby Wiggins, spoke on behalf of Narconon Freedom Center at an elementary/junior high school near Marshall, Michigan.
In December 2009 Narconon Freedom Center attended a Healthcare Alliance Holiday Ball as a Century Sponsor and to support the Alliance which was established to enable people to receive high quality healthcare and better the health of the residents of the area.
Over all Narconon Freedom Center had an outstanding year with someone every week permanently from the bonds of drug addiction. 2010 is already starting off with a bang for Narconon Freedom Center as they continue to service even more students as the year unfolds.
