/24-7PressRelease/ - AMMAN, JORDAN, July 18, 2007 - The event featured the participation of over 20 paint producers, all coming from six countries across the region including, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, , Algeria, Libya and Jordan.
As part of its sponsorship of the conference, National Paints highlighted to the attendees the latest development and achievements it had embarked on lately, while maintaining its pioneering position producing its widely accepted and environmentally friendly paint products both locally and world wide.
The conference focused mainly on discussing issues pertaining to the paint industry across the region, and the procedures needed to elevate the quality of paint products .The participating representatives' discussions' centered on improving the production standards from the technical and raw material perspective. They also surveyed official statistical reports relevant to the painting industry, and they used these reports to identify areas of strength and weakness with the opportunity to take necessary steps in securing the best use of the technical and industrial capabilities in the region.

He further added that such conferences and events help key players working within the paint industry to cooperate and exchange views so that they collectively develop and expand the scope of production across the region. "Together we can raise the specifications needed within our regional paint industry, and hope that this meeting will contribute in preserving National Paints with its standards as our aim is to make the local paint industry competitive both regionally and globally." He said.
The conference concluded by developing and adopting a complete industrial integration within the Arab world. The delegates also agreed to produce specialized periodicals, pamphlets and publications will be designed to grant acknowledgement to various Arabic paint companies in the region, providing the targeted audience and public relevant information and facts pertaining to the paints industry.
