PHILADELPHIA, PA, November 14, 2009
/24-7PressRelease/ -- To coincide with National Bookstore Day, November 7th, 2009, the Color Book Gallery held its grand opening celebration in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Color Book Gallery, the oldest multicultural children's bookstore in the nation, relocated from Northern Virginia and is now the Philadelphia area's newest and only children's bookstore. It has found the perfect location to reach it's broad target audience. Located on the borders of Historic Germantown and Mt. Airy at 6353 Germantown Avenue, it has neighbors of the Johnson House Historic Site, a station stop along the underground railroad and Cliveden, site of the historic October 1777 Battle of Germantown between British and American troops.
As with its previous location, the Color Book Gallery offers a wide selection of children's books, with a special emphasis on books with characters representing various cultures, as well as, educational and bilingual books. However, with its new location, the Color Book Gallery has added an upstairs for its Sugarbabe's Children's Boutique and Gift Shop and a space to offer cultural, language-based and educational events.
Offering children's books in many languages, the Color Book Gallery is seeking individuals, authors or educators interested in volunteering to share through storytelling, music, activity and foreign language with our children.
