/24-7PressRelease/ -- Hundreds of costumed fans of Japanese pop culture will descend upon Westport Plaza July 16, 17 and 18 for Natsucon, St. Louis' summertime Anime convention. This year's Natsucon will be held at the Sheraton Chalet Hotel at Westport Plaza (Maryland Heights, Missouri).
Special guests at Natsucon 2010 include two who were fan favorites at last year's inaugural Natsucon, voice actor Chris Patton and singer/voice actor Christina Vee. Making their Natsucon debuts in 2010 are voice actor Leah Clark and noted Anime artist Tracy J. Butler.
Sure to be highlights of Natsucon 2010 are a Techno Dance featuring DJ Andy Szawsum and a concert by Asian rock band The Hsu-Nami.
Natsucon attendees will enjoy a 24-hour Game Room hosted by GPX Gaming, a Masquerade, a Date Auction, a Gong Show, Artists' Alley, Vendors' Room and a Ramen-Eating contest. Natsucon panel discussions will cover a wide variety of Anime-related topics ranging from Cosplay to Anime music videos to basics of Japanese language to Pokemon.
