/24-7PressRelease/ -- Natural User Interface Europe AB (NUI), a Sweden headquartered innovative emerging technology company secured an investment from venture capitalist Savings Bank of Norrland Foundation for Venture Capital, one of the shareholders of Swedbank AB, which is a market leader banking group in Sweden and the Baltic region.
The funding will allow NUI to broaden product development, invest into additional marketing and sales activities, building a stronger partner network and attract additional human resources, to strengthen its existing leading position in the market.
NUI has been offering its advanced multi-touch software, hardware and services to the global market for two years, as one of the first companies worldwide, covering a wide spectrum of different industries including the exhibition industry, banking, real estate, education, museums and others. NUI's prominent customers includes Ferrari, Alzorah Development Company, Lockheed Martin and Singtel, as well as others with whom confidential relationships are established. Products have been sold and integrated in South and North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Partnering with companies like N-trig, Nextwindow and others within the multi-touch industry, allows NUI to offer its products to a wider base of hardware touch technology platforms like capacitive, resistive, projected capacitive, optical and other technologies, which are integrated on consumer electronic devices like ultra small hand held mobile phones, to laptops and desktop computers, to larger scale interactive displays.
NUI's headquarter and innovation center is located in Skellefteć (Sweden), which is strengthened by its additional software operations in Poland and its office in Singapore to overlook the Asian market.
NUI CEO Harry van der Veen commented on the investment as follows:
